Bio

Eric J Dubowsky, aka Eric J, is an American mixer, producer and songwriter with a career shaped by New York’s recording culture and some of the most forward thinking artists in modern music. He got his start at Greene St. Recording in New York, working around the early hip hop scene before going on to work with legendary producer Arif Mardin.

Since then, Eric J has built an eclectic body of work spanning electronic, alternative, pop and indie, with credits including Flume, Tame Impala, Phoenix, Weezer, ODESZA, FKA twigs, Dua Lipa, The Chemical Brothers, Kylie Minogue and Chet Faker. His work on Chet Faker’s Built on Glass and Flume’s Skin earned him ARIA Awards for Best Engineer, alongside a Grammy and an Emmy for his work with Andy Grammer.

With decades behind the console, Eric J brings a musician’s ear and a producer’s instinct to every record, always chasing the details that give a track its identity.
